College Avenue Campus Renewal

Overview

The project involved the rehabilitation of a collection of heritage buildings which included an extensive renovation of the original College Building and Tower, as well as two additions.

The project revitalized the campus for the benefit of future students as well as the surrounding community. The design respects the heritage value of the existing buildings while adapting to today’s instructional, learning, and community needs. Vibrant spaces for teaching and learning were developed within the historical context of the site.

The design adhered rigorously to the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada.
