Overview

Careport Animal Hospital (formerly Airport Animal Hospital) is a full-service veterinary hospital that has been family owned and operated since 1989. The new facility will be the first completely purpose-built facility that the practice will move into. The project has been designed from the ground up with animal (aka: patient), client, and staff well-being in mind.

Patient spaces have been designed in reference to fear-free veterinary hospital design standards. “Fear-free” informs best practices for daylighting, acoustic separations, acoustic noise reduction, colour schemes, HVAC design, dog and cat boarding layouts and enclosures, as well as treatment space, lobby, and exam room design.

The entire building has been designed to create a positive and healing environment for animals, caregivers, and clients.
